Based in Clemmons, part of the Piedmont Triad Region of North Carolina, Triumph Actuation Products and Services is a leading aerospace hydraulic systems provider for commercial and military systems and employs approximately 230 employees. The company’s key products and services include full life cycle support of hydraulic actuation, control valves, pumps, motors, and highly integrated powerpacks for hydraulic systems. Triumph Actuation Products and Services has long served both the OE and MRO/spares end markets.

Summer internship will sit at the Clemmons location in support of the Chief Operation Officers team reporting directly to our VP, Operations.

Summer internship will sit at the Clemmons location in support of the Chief Operation Officers team reporting directly to our VP, Operations.
As part of the assignment the identified candidate will support the following:
- Creation of a standard template to provide critical data that describes each site and performance. (TRIUMPH site one pager) Once standard template is developed partner with each site to complete.
- Partner with the data analytics team to complete critical Inventory analysis by creating a pareto and identifying programs where there is opportunity to double inventory turns. (Turnover Transformation Project) Will require regular reviews to track progress using our data analytics systems & reports.
- Site level projects to support Cost of Poor Quality initiatives. Would require some travel to our Forest, OH site.
- Currently enrolled in an ABET accredited program for Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Aerospace Engineering
- Completed Sophomore year of college
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated fluency in English
- Experience with continuous improvement, lean/six sigma methodologies
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must provide steel toed/safety shoes
