We have an exciting opportunity for a Thermal / Mechanical Project Engineer Intern to join our West Hartford, CT team.
This Position Will Provide Support To The Project Engineers And Integrated Product Development Team On One Or More Programs In Process Of Developing New Products. The Products Include Mechanical Components Such As Actuators And Pumps, As Well As Thermal Management Systems That Include Mechanical And Electronic Components Such As Compressors, Heat Exchangers, Motor Drives, And Controllers). Tasks Will Vary Based On The Development Stage Of The Programs However Will Include

- Attending team and customer meetings to assist in managing & tracking action items
- Support of parts orders and tracking
- Assisting in the update and review of engineering specification, plan, and report documents
- Coordinating and assisting technical tasks being executed by the development team
- Attending design review meetings and working sessions to provide exposure to engineering designs
- Helping to create and update presentations and tracking tools
- Supporting development test activities in the engineering lab environment. This may include setup/build of test systems, and/or executing product tests.
- Assisting project engineers with program expenditures financial tracking
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Engineering or similar field, with a GPA of 3.0 or greater
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Project
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal and team skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels in the organization
- Candidates must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent resident
