This person will demonstrate the ability to execute successful new product development programs from initial concept design through production transition within project constraints. Responsibilities
- Effectively lead an integrated product team in the development of new products as
- Customer focal point on technical and project management related topics.
- Prepare component specifications, test plans, and test reports.
- Provide oversight of mechanical test activities (setup and testing).
- Organize team level RCCA activities to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical products.
- Review/monitor schedule and budget commitments relative to assigned projects and
- Ensure new product development procedures are adhered to and that recommendations
- Support operations to ensure that engineered product meets financial objectives through
objectives.
- Identify process and product improvements (new products and legacy products) and
- Multi-task, execute cross-functional activities, and drive projects to successfully meet key
- Foster good working relationships with customers, suppliers and internal departments.
- BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required; PMP certification, MS or MBA
- 2 years minimum of relevant experience working with Fuel Systems, Engine Controls,

- Pump design knowledge (gear pump, centrifugal, vane pump, etc.) and/or hydraulic
- Electro-mechanical interface device (EMID) design knowledge a plus (LVDTs, RVDTs, electric
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings (GD&T).
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Experience working in and leading product development teams, creating project plans,
execution.
- Hands-on mechanical product assembly, inspection and/or testing experience a plus.
