nCandidate must be able to INTERVIEW IN PERSON in Richmond, VA. If you do not live in or near Richmond, please do not apply.
nCandidate must be able to work ONSITE 2 days per week for the frst few months. Then remote. YOU MUST be able to be ONSITE in Richmond, not negotiable.
nThis is a role for a Handson Full Stack Java developer. They must be able to speak to / provide examples of their work if selected for IV. This is not a role for someone who has been managing the development team or can't give detailed technical examples of their work.
nParking is NOT provided for contractors.

nABOUT THE ROLE
nThis position will serve as a senior application developer for the DMAS Information Management Division in the design, development, and maintenance of Java / JEE based applications.
nExtensive practical experience in building enterprise applications using Java EE technologies is required.
nExperience in at least one Java application framework is required.
nETL experience is required. Talend is a big plus
nExperience with Node.js and Angular are required
nExperience with GIT is required.
nExperience with DevOps, CI / CD pipelines are required. Azure DevOps a big plus
nExperience in ORM frameworks, Configuration management, Build and testing tools is required.
nExperience in application servers is desired.
nExperience in IBM SOA products like IIB, ODM, WAS, MQ is a big plus.
nExperience in Medicaid or Health Insurance is a big plus.
nGood understanding of relational database concepts, specifically Oracle, and software development life cycle is required.
nExperience in Python is a plus.
