UI / UX Designer\nContract to Hire\nHybrid (onsite 3 days)\n\nTriumph Services is seeking a UI / UX Designer for our client in Richmond, VA. The UI / UX Designer will work closely with the Sprint / Product teams with the primary goal of designing the next generation of mobile websites, apps, and other mobile interfaces across multiple platforms such as iOS, Android, and mobile web. The UI / UX Designer will have an evolved understanding of how people use their devices, the flexibility to adapt to new technologies, and a robust toolkit. The individual in this role will be responsible for creating highly usable and intuitive interface and asset creation. All concepts created will be brand-consistent across all mobile experiences that they provide their customers.\n\n Responsibilities : \n \n\t Develop intuitive, usable, and engaging interactions and visual designs for mobile native apps as well as responsive web applications. \n\tParticipate in the development process from definition, through design, build, test, release, and maintenance. Provide strategic thinking and leadership. \n\tDevelop high-fidelity prototypes and animations to demonstrate interactive behaviors and transitions on mobile platforms. \n\tCollaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design and development process. \n\tStay abreast of UX trends and look for creative ideas and inspiration in parallel analogous worlds. \n\tResearch and track advancements in native mobile applications across iOS and Android devices as well as responsive design patterns. \n\tBreak any design problem down into viable actionable chunks and solve them with clarity and precision. \n\tStay on top of the latest standards, changes, and trends in the mobile design field\n\n\n Qualifications : \n\n \n\t Bachelor's degree in graphic design, interaction design, psychology, computer science, or related field. \n\tStrong graphic design skills, with a good understanding of typography, intuitive layouts, information architecture, and development workflow. \n\tStrong ability to recognize and predict use-cases and user interaction, including happy path, and edge cases, and incorporate them into designs. \n\tExcellent understanding of user-experience design for mobile apps and the web, technology trends, and demonstrable design skills and ability to show relevant work. \n\tProven ability to deliver high quality designs to customers. \n\tProficiency in Figma for prototyping and creating interactive mobile design assets. \n\tExperience with Zeplin or similar design handoff tools to streamline collaboration with developers. \n\tA team player who can easily adapt in a rapidly changing environment. \n\tExpert level skills in the Adobe Creative suite such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and other relevant design tools. \n\tDeep understanding of Apple's human interface design guidelines, Android design and other mobile platform designs. \n\tUnderstanding of Data Management environments such as Azure DevOps as well as a basic knowledge of relational database concepts. \n\tClose attention to detail and demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on projects. \n\tAbility to manage multiple projects and set priorities while ensuring best practices in design, usability and accessibility is a must. \n\tExcellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills. \n\tAbility to develop intuitive, usable, and engaging interactions and visual designs for mobile and responsive web applications. \n\tExperience participating in the development process from definition, through design, build, test, release, and maintenance.
