Compliance Intern
Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Compliance Intern for our Compliance team.
This collaborative and detail-oriented individual will be responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance documentation, supporting compliance reporting, and monitoring and researching regulations.

This position reports to The Vice-President of Environmental, Health & Safety. This role is onsite and is based in Somerville, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the review and maintenance of regulatory compliance documentation (e.g., permits, safety data sheets, audit reports)
- Support the preparation of internal and client-facing reports related to environmental and safety compliance
- Conduct research on federal, state, and local EHS regulations and emerging standards
- Help track deadlines for required filings, inspections, and corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support compliance-related initiatives and training
- Contribute to process improvement efforts and special projects as needed
Basic Requirements:
- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Public Health, Occupational Safety, Compliance, Legal Studies, or a related field
- Strong interest in environmental health and safety regulations, or corporate compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
- Must have a reliable form of transportation
