Triune Financial Partners, LLC (Triune) is a purpose driven, faith-based Overland Park, KS financial planning firm with 25 Triune associates, 800 financial planning and 100 company retirement plan clients. Triune seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to staff the firm’s financial reporting and accounting role along with various HR roles. The Accounting Manager, a highly valued team member, will be extremely hands-on and take a proactive role in managing and enhancing all accounting processes supporting existing business and future growth.
The Accounting Manager will report to the Company's fractional CFO and will work closely with Triune’s Managing Partner. This role will have significant direct interaction with associates throughout the firm.
Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- 5-years plus bookkeeping, payroll, and financial statement preparation experience
- Ability to function as a solo accounting department
- Ability to work in a small team environment
- Ability to work in multiple software packages and the ability to quickly learn new systems and extend functions of existing software
- A minimum intermediate skill level in Excel
Core Responsibilities
- All bookkeeping tasks
- Bi-weekly payroll processing via a third-party payroll processor, including time off tracking
- Annual W-2 preparation and distribution
- Employee benefits management and coordination with payroll preparation
- Client billing processing and collections management
- Cash flow management in coordination with Managing Partner
- Vendor bill processing accounts payable management
- Credit card, expense/receipt processing
- Partner/Solicitor compensation payouts and tracking
- Annual 1099s, including on-going maintenance of vendor W-9 processing
- Financial Reporting
- Monthly close process by end the 3rd business day monthly
- Key “Triune Metrics” report preparation monthly or other frequencies as needed
- Ad hoc report preparation as needed
- Provide financial information for tax preparation, benchmarking services, insurance carriers, etc. as needed
- Track Managing Partner business expenses
Team Member Expectations
- Onsite during normal business hours. M-F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Various standing weekly staff meetings
Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
