Triveni Bio is breaking new ground in the identification of novel disease targets - working at the convergence of human genetics, best-in-class antibody design, and precision medicine. We are pioneering a Mendelian genetics-informed precision medicine approach to develop functional antibodies for the treatment of immunological and inflammatory (I&I) disorders. Our lead antibody program (TRIV-509) targets kallikreins 5 and 7 (KLK5 / 7) to directly impact skin barrier function, inflammation, and itch - providing a meaningful and much needed potential treatment option for patients with atopic dermatitis and other barrier disorders.
SUMMARY
Triveni Bio is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Vice President, Finance to join our organization. In this role, you will oversee all aspects associated with the accounting and forecasting for the company, including working closely with the program teams, executive management, external vendors, etc. Specifically, your role will involve compiling, directing and managing all accounting and financial activities including hands-on oversight for all budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, accounting, risk management, compliance, and strategic financial planning processes. Further, you will advise senior leadership on decisions to optimize processes, improve financials and support responsible corporate growth. You will also work closely with the COO to evaluate potential business development opportunities, execute fundraising and adjudicate growth investments. In short, this is a highly visible role responsible for interacting with senior leadership across all functions and program and project teams to help guide the future growth of the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- This position will ensure the seamless integration of all financial disciplines, leading the monthly close, budgeting & forecasting processes, internal financial controls, the associated reporting and analysis of actual expenses and other finance requirements
- Oversee essential accounting and regulatory activities, including technical accounting, audit, tax, management reporting, treasury operations, company registrations, and insurance
- Provide financial and operational leadership for budgeting & forecasting, and strategic planning for the R&D, clinical and G&A organizations, including project teams
- Act as a strategic financial partner and point of contact for leadership and key stakeholders across the organization, including investment and business development opportunities
- Deliver financial presentations to senior leadership, including annual budget summaries and quarterly financial reports
- Pro-actively engage with program / project teams and functional leaders to manage budgets, challenge assumptions and estimates, identify areas for improvement and / or cost savings, and ensure consistency between departmental financial plans, corporate goals, and program / project timelines
- Manage key internal processes to ensure accuracy and transparency across the finance organization
- Build and manage models for problem solving and business forecasting
- Implement continuous enhancements in support of a quickly growing organization, including standardized reporting, process improvement, and benchmarking analysis
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and assist with special projects, as required
