What are the responsibilities and job description for the R&D Electrical Engineer position at Trividia Health, Inc.?
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to troubleshoot, design, test, and maintain analog and digital circuits for medical device manufacturing. You will collaborate on test fixture designs, perform failure analysis, and provide technical assistance throughout equipment construction and calibration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and troubleshoot analog/digital circuits and test fixtures.
- Calibrate, test, and maintain manufacturing test equipment.
- Build mechanical/electrical assemblies and prototypes per engineering specs.
- Write technical documentation and execute validation protocols.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, IEC, ISO, GMP guidelines.
- Travel internationally and coordinate shipping of test fixtures.
- Adhere to safety regulations and workplace standards.
Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, voltmeters), protocols (RS-232, Ethernet), and ADCs/DACs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel.
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (FDA, ISO).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and mathematical skills.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, sit/stand, and use hand tools.
- Exposure to electrical hazards, bloodborne pathogens, and chemical safety protocols.
