What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Teacher - Hybrid Learning Program position at Trivium Charter School Network?
Trivium Charter School, a Personalized Learning Public Charter School, is accepting applications for full-time teaching positions for the 2023-2024 school year. We are looking for dynamic, engaging teachers who are interested in working in a collaborative environment where hands-on, project-based learning is emphasized and encouraged... and funded! (teachers receive a significant classroom budget). Teachers must be comfortable learning new technology and adapting to different student’s curricula and learning styles. Our academic program is highly successful and we are growing!
Teachers are required to be in the classroom two days per week to teach with some additional days or extended hours assigned from time to time to meet the needs of our students. On the three non-teaching days teachers will work on preparing lessons, reviewing, monitoring and supporting student work, grading, collaborating, communicating with families, attending staff meetings or IEPs and documenting student progress. Teachers track and monitor progress for a variety of classes and curricula in addition to classroom teaching.
Teachers may, in general, complete their ‘flexible day’ assignments from home, at a learning center or other convenient location of their choice when applicable.
Openings may be at one of the following learning centers: Santa Maria, Arroyo Grande, or Atascadero. Openings may also be any grade K-5. Please note teachers are assigned to only one center the entire year unless a teacher requests (and we have an appropriate opening) to teach four days a week and works at two different centers in exchange for reduced paperwork.
Our starting pay for the 23/24 school year is $67,000. We use a performance rating system so you can jump up in pay quickly each year if your performance is great.
We currently have openings in Santa Maria, Arroyo Grande and Atascadero. We may have openings develop in Santa Barbara and Lompoc as our current teaching staff move centers or programs.
We are growing and there are multiple openings!
This is a full-time job with a lot of flexibility! Applicants must have a Single Subject or Multiple Subject California teaching credential - preliminary or clear. Interested? Please review our website: www.triviumcharter.org. If you are interested in applying, please send a resume, cover letter, and sample lesson plan to employment@triviumcharter.org and make sure to include the center(s) and grade(s) that are your preference.
