Job Overview:
As an Industrial Automation Specialist, you will partner with production and engineering teams to enhance the design, installation, and function of all control and electronic devices on-site. You will work with a variety of technologies, including computers, PLCs, and vision systems, supporting optimal production operations.
Key Duties:
- Manage and maintain hardware and software for plant PLC controllers, electronic devices, and automated systems.
- Implement programming modifications to enhance process efficiency and quality.
- Conduct electrical safety assessments and maintain equipment according to safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues across departments.
- Ensure adequate material inventory for ongoing production.
- Operate forklifts and comply with 5S/housekeeping standards.
Qualifications:
- Degree in electronics or 3 years industrial experience in electronics, control systems, or a related field.
- Ability to write PLC programs and analyze circuit schematics.
- Skilled communicator with the ability to train colleagues in electronic troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with mechanical/electrical measuring devices and relevant mathematical concepts.
- Experience with multi-tasking in dynamic environments and maintaining detail-focused operations.
