Summary : Monitor the plant floor and supply the production equipment with material. Load and unload trucks as needed.
Essential Duties :
- Load and unload trucks
- Supply cans and ends to the Cannery
- Maintain continuous flow of material for production equipment.
- Deliver the basic supplies to each department to maintain continuity.
- Warehouse finished product
- Warehouse and palletize areas
- Assist in the movement of machinery
- Perform safety checks on vehicle
- Fill propane cylinder.
- Housekeeping
- Occasional removal of jammed pallets
- Sort defective product
Competencies
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following :
Education and or Experience
High School or GED.
Computer Skills

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Forklift Certification.

The noise level in the work environment is very loud. Employees must wear hearing protection and all other assigned Personal Protective Equipment. Temperature can range from extreme cold (
90 degrees). The atmosphere contains fumes, dust and odors.
Special Hazards :
Handling of chemicals, outside elements when filling propane cylinder, loading hazardous waste onto trucks, spills from punctured hazardous waste drum.
