JOB DUTIES: Project Engineer – Software positions with Triz Engineering Services America, LLC in Center Point, Alabama will develop and maintain customized software solutions based on business requirements. Design and develop custom code written in conformance with business and technical requirements and specifications, and deploy the software to the required environments for testing and usage. Provide key specialized software engineering and development expertise regarding enterprise applications’ specific functional requirements. Support development efforts, ensure best practices are followed, and provide expertise to existing software development teams. Act as a technology lead and subject matter expert responsible for interpreting business requirements and providing technical solutions for the applications in functional areas. Interface with the client to confirm system requirements, understand business goals, and recommend technical solutions in order to continue enhancing the systems. Redevelop our proprietary and customized applications to meet emerging business needs. Design custom-built application enhancements to ensure requirements are met, as well as applying test driven development techniques to drive application and system design. Define, design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance applications, and he will embrace emerging coding standards while promoting best practices.
REQUIREMENTS: Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field and at least 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience in software development. Stated experience must include at least 2 years of experience in each of the following: working with embedded software; working with software for vehicle functional safety; working with Matlab Simulink for vehicle and body controllers used in the automotive environment; development of system plant models and simulations using Matlab Simulink; working with and developing Telematics solutions and Over-the-air technologies; development, documentation, verification and testing of control software and software tools; and performing vehicle level architecture design (including systems modelling, data analytics, duty cycle analysis) and systems integration (including ADAS, ABS, taction-, battery systems, OTA). Must be willing to travel 10% domestically.
