What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Fire Alarm Installer position at TRL Systems, Inc.?
The Fire Alarm Installer is responsible for the onsite installation of fire life safety systems within commercial properties. You will be performing the installation of devices, run wire, and perform basic construction needs. Other duties include demo, construction rough-ins, project prep and clean up.

Essential Functions
- Ensure the successful installation of fire life safety components such as smoke detectors, heat detectors, horns and strobes, and pull stations.
- Understands how to read and interpret drawings for project installation.
- Operates and understand the use of all tools and equipment needed for the project.
- Displays an understanding of and the functionality of the Fire Life Safety systems installed.
- Keep work area clean.
- Punctuality and regular attendance
- 0-2 years in construction and/or low voltage installation
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends, if needed.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Ability to drive for 2 hours in a work shift/day, daily.
- Ability to drive, walk, bend, stoop, hear, and speak, daily.
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, under all temperature variations.
- Work environment may be construction sites, commercial buildings, and multi-tenant properties.
- Ascend/Descend and work at heights above 6ft and extreme heights, occasionally
- Move/Transport/Install/Remove items weighing 50 pounds, daily
- Pushing/Pulling using upper extremities, daily
- Position self to work in confined spaces, occasionally
