As the Fire Life Safety Installer, you will keep people safe by performing the onsite installation of nurse call, security and fire life safety systems such as EST3, Lenel, and Ascom within Healthcare facilities. You will install devices, run wire, and performing basic construction needs to ensure the successful completion of client projects. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
As the Fire Life Safety Installer, you will keep people safe by performing the onsite installation of nurse call, security and fire life safety systems such as EST3, Lenel, and Ascom within Healthcare facilities. You will install devices, run wire, and performing basic construction needs to ensure the successful completion of client projects. Essential Functions
- Perform demolition, construction rough ins, wire pulling, material staging, project prep and clean up.
- Run wire, terminate cable, install devices and make sure they are working properly
- Interpret drawings and identify best methods of project completion
- Keep work area clean
- Follow the Lead/Foreman instructions to get the job done
- Operate basic hand tools
- Keep yourself and others safe
- 2 years in low voltage installation preferably security, nurse call and fire life safety systems
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
- Must be able to get required vaccination and immunizations needed
- Must be able to work weekends, nights, split shifts, and rotating shifts (if needed).
Physical Demands & Work Environments
- Repetitive substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Walk, drive, bend, stoop, hear, and speak
- Move/transport/install/remove items weighing 50 pounds
- Drive for 2 hours in a work shift/day
- You may work at extreme heights occasionally, and an indoor environment under all temperature variations. Confined spaces may occasionally be required.
- Work is performed in hospitals and other medical facilities with patient contact.
