As an Installation Technician at TRL Systems, Inc you will help in the onsite installation of nurse call, security and fire life safety systems within healthcare facilities. To do well in this position you must be able to install devices, run wiring, demolition, construction rough ins, wire pulling, material staging, project prep and clean up. Previous experience required.

Essential Functions
- Daily tasks include construction rough ins, wire pulling, and fire alarm, security, and nurse call device installation.
- Follow instructions from Lead/Foreman in order to finish the jobs in a safe and timely fashion.
- Be safe on the job. Maintain work area clean and free of hazards.
- Read drawings
- Use knowledge of security, nurse call and fire life safety systems to install devices. Common brand we use are EST3, Lenel, Ascom, and others.
- Use basic hand tools and power tools (multi-meters, crimpers, wire strippers, etc.)
- 2 years in low voltage installation (fire alarm, security, and nurse call)
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
- Must be able to work weekends, nights, split shifts, and rotating shifts (if needed).
- Punctuality and regular attendance

- Repetitive substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Walk, drive, bend, stoop, hear, and speak
- Move/transport/install/remove items weighing 50 pounds
- Drive for 2 hours in a work shift/day
- You may work at extreme heights occasionally, and an indoor environment under all temperature variations. Confined spaces may occasionally be required.
- Work is performed in hospitals and other medical facilities with patient contact.
