We are looking to add a Quality Control Manager to our team. We are a contractor at Fort Huachuca responsible for servicing the dining facilities. The position is 5 days a week, Tuesday thru Saturday. This is a salaried position.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Quality Control Manager develops and enforces quality control and safety plans to ensure compliance with government contract specifications and applicable regulations.
- Ensures that all stages of the operation, products, and services are inspected for compliance with set quality, health, and safety standards as well as other operational requirements that are in line with the terms of the contract.
- Ensures that all services listed on the performance requirement summary are performed in a satisfactory manner.
- Communicates deficiencies to upper management.
- Maintains quality control files, and documents results of all inspections
- Ability to organize and conduct ongoing and in-service training.
- Conducts required Army training according to Performance Work Statement schedule.
- Maintains employee training files.
Qualifications and Skills
- Work experience as a Quality Control Manager is preferred but nor required.
- Ability to conduct different types of inspections.
- Army food service operations experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to organize skills assessment of operation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to acquire a Common Access Card which requires a background check.
