We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Member Experience Specialist at our fitness center. The ideal candidate will be passionate about health and fitness, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service to our members. The Member Experience Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the satisfaction and retention of our members by providing personalized assistance, resolving inquiries, and fostering a positive environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for members, greeting them warmly and providing assistance with inquiries, membership sign-ups, and class registrations.
- Build strong relationships with members by understanding their fitness goals, preferences, and challenges, and offering personalized recommendations and support.
- Conduct new member orientations and facility tours to familiarize members with our services, amenities, and safety protocols.
- Assist members with equipment setup, proper usage, and fitness program guidance to ensure a safe and effective workout experience.
- Address member feedback and concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues and escalating complex matters to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with fitness instructors, personal trainers, and other staff members to coordinate class schedules, events, and promotions that enhance the member experience.
- Actively engage with members on social media platforms and community events to promote fitness center activities, programs, and member success stories.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and new fitness technologies to continuously improve the member experience and drive member retention.
