Job Description:
The Facilities Technician will work under the direction of the Lead Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and proper operation of the buildings and grounds of Trollwood Performing Arts School. This role is responsible for completing scheduled cleaning and preparation duties as assigned, while being vigilant of the needs of the school and assisting in moving equipment and supplies as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare the facility for classes, events, and general use
- Assist with any needs of the Faculty to have the necessary resources for classes
- Assist with moving furniture and preparing for temporary staff housing
- Support the Mainstage Musical Production Staff
- Operate necessary equipment to maintain the grounds, including lawn mowers, weed whackers, and hedge trimmers
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively and keep track of schedules
- Availability to work various schedules including evenings and weekends
- Experience working in a team-oriented office environment
- Strong work ethic and motivation towards the mission and goals of the organization
- Effective communication skills when interacting with students, staff, and volunteers
- Valid Driver's License
