Trollwood Performing Arts School is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Scenic Run Crew member to join our team for the summer production of Mamma Mia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining all scenic elements during technical rehearsals and performances, ensuring a seamless and visually stunning experience for the audience.
This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. The ideal candidate must also adhere to safety protocols to ensure the safety of all crew members and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing the stage for all rehearsals and performances.
- Set up and strike all scenic elements, including props and furniture.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on scenic elements as needed.
- Load-in and load-out scenic elements and equipment during rehearsals, performances, pre-show, and post-show.
- Attend all technical rehearsals and dress rehearsals to ensure proper functioning of scenic elements.
- Work with the stage manager and other crew members to execute scene changes efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment backstage.
- Familiarize yourself with safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of all performers and crew members.
- Participate in meetings and discussions regarding the production.
