About the Role
This Scenic Crew Member position is an exciting opportunity to be part of Trollwood's mainstage musical production of Mamma Mia. The successful candidate will assist in setting up and maintaining scenic elements, ensuring a smooth and visually stunning show for the audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Scene Preparation: Assist in preparing the stage for rehearsals and performances, including setting up and striking all scenic elements.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on scenic elements as needed to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Load-In/Load-Out: Load-in and load-out scenic elements and equipment during rehearsals, performances, pre-show, and post-show.
- Scene Changes: Work with the stage manager and other crew members to execute scene changes efficiently and on time.
- Safety Protocols: Maintain a clean and safe working environment backstage, adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience working backstage in a theatrical production.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Availability to work day, evenings, and weekends throughout the production week.
