As the Social Media Specialist at Troomi Wireless, you will be on the front lines of social media where our mission meets our audience—helping parents discover kid-safe technology that empowers their families in ways they never imagined possible.
You are the publishing bridge between our brand and the community, ensuring that every message we share reaches the right people at the right time through social media, email, and SMS marketing. You are the conductor, working in coordination with other creatives on the team who specialize in video and graphics. You will gather assets, create others, and orchestrate all publishing.
You are also our voice as you interact directly with customers and potential customers online. Words matter, and you will use them to shape how people experience Troomi. From captions that capture attention to thoughtful responses that build trust, your ability to communicate with clarity, warmth, and authenticity will define our brand’s presence.

WHAT YOU’LL DO Maintain a Publishing Content Calendar
- Own the scheduling and coordination of content across all digital platforms.
- Work closely with videographer, graphic designer, and the marketing team to ensure content aligns with campaigns and brand priorities.
- Keep our messaging consistent and timely, ensuring no opportunity for connection is missed.
Publish Content Across Social Media Channels
- Upload and schedule post content.
- Optimize post timing and formatting for engagement on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and more.
- Act as the brand’s digital voice, ensuring consistency and professionalism in every post.
Write Copy for Social Media & Marketing Campaigns
- Craft engaging captions, post descriptions, and short-form copy that strengthen our brand’s presence.
- Adapt content for different platforms while keeping the brand voice authentic and compelling.
Monitor and Respond to Comments & Messages
- Engage directly with our audience, fostering relationships and ensuring every comment, DM, and inquiry is acknowledged.
- Keep our messaging consistent and timely (within reasonable work hours), ensuring no opportunity for connection is missed.
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers on social media, providing helpful responses that reflect Troomi’s mission and values.
- Keep a pulse on customer sentiment, gathering insights that help shape our messaging and strategies.
Manage SMS & Email Marketing Campaigns
- Oversee the execution of SMS and email campaigns, ensuring parents receive valuable updates, promotions, and information.
- Work with the marketing team to refine messaging and increase engagement through thoughtful communication.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and content schedules simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills, with the ability to craft compelling, on-brand messaging across various digital platforms.
- Experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content coordination, with a proven ability to engage and grow an online audience.
- Ability to analyze engagement metrics and audience insights to refine content strategies and improve performance.
- A proactive and detail-oriented mindset, ensuring consistency in messaging and alignment with brand goals.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys working cross-functionally with creative teams.

Pay: $55,403.00 - $60,767.00 per year
