Job Description

• The Nest at Aguila / Aguila Golf Course
• Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager/Corporate Food & Beverage Director
• Position Purpose: Operate the snack bar in the Food and Beverage building, make basic cocktails for golfers and serve beverages and beer to guests and golfers. Will need to be comfortable with using a grill, fryer, flat top at times and basic cooking such as hot dogs, brats, and burgers
• Part-Time
• Looking for candidates willing to work 2-4 DAYS PER WEEK
• Must be reliable and punctual

General Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operating the snack bar.
• Responsible for serving food, beverages, beer, liquor and snacks to guests at the golf course.
• Responsible for knowing basic cocktails and golf course cocktails
• Must know proper golf etiquette; products carried and price; health regulations and liquor laws.
• Must know and practice alcohol awareness.
• Must know and practice food handling and preparation
• Responsible for maintaining initial bank/till and customer sales made during shift.
• Responsible for providing proper change to customers.
• Responsible for completing end of shift paperwork accurately and returning initial bank and shifts sales to management.
• Stock snack bar with all necessary supplies.
• Completely wipe down snack bar area.
• Empty all trash and personal belongings at end of shift.
• Any other duty deemed reasonable and necessary.

Experience / Education / Certification Requirements:

• High school education or it's equivalent.
• Basic math skills.
• Local health and alcohol awareness certification
• Customer service skills
• Must be 18 years old to serve alcohol in the state of Arizona

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• To waist height.
• Frequent bending turning, kneeling and stooping.
• Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to operate a golf car in a safe manner.
• Normal vision and hearing ranges required.
• Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language.

Job Type:

• Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday ;Weekends
• Work Location: Aguila Golf Course; can also cross training at Encanto and Cave Creek Golf Course
