JOB TITLE: Assistant Community Management Floater & Trainer
Reports to: Vice President of Operations
Position Summary:
Reports directly to the Vice President of Operations to provide coverage at onsite locations as needed and to train, and motivate Community Association Managers within the company.
This individual is also responsible for the overall homeowner experience and daily operations of the communities that they serve on an as needed basis.
Compensation: $80,000 / year
Essential Job Functions:
- Reports to the Vice President of Community Management and supports Community Association Managers to ensure customer service excellence to Associations and Residents.
- Assist onsite Community Managers with developing skills, knowledge and professional abilities.
- Trains new hires on management software and provides ongoing training and mentoring to existing team members one-on-one as needed.
- Train and reinforce company documentation standards, office standards and service culture.
- Deliver and promote prompt, courteous and outgoing friendly service to all residents, guests, and fellow employees.
- Manage new employee onboarding set-up, including but not limited to business card and name badge orders, IT and equipment tickets, etc.
- Maintains an active LCAM license in the State of Florida at all times and participates in educational opportunities pertaining to the role and responsibilities.
- Exercises independent judgement in managing staff to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Community Association, including, but not limited to delegation of tasks and responsibilities.
- Provide daily onsite operational support and coverage as needed during the Manager’s absence due to vacation, illness, voluntary or non-voluntary termination, or during times of transition. Daily onsite duties to include, but not limited to:
- Review, oversee and prepare as needed any materials for Board Meetings, Membership Meetings and Committee Meetings.
- Attend monthly financial review meetings.
- Coordinate and oversee vendor contracts and ensure neighborhood common areas are properly maintained.
- Assist with Annual Budget Preparation
- Prepare RFP’s and Bid Summary packages for Board review.
- Oversee the coordinate of Association communications.
- Attend Board Meetings, Membership Meetings and Committee Meetings as needed to support onsite team.
- Tracks and maintains financial, compliance and corporate records, and recorded membership documents as well as governing documents.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Local travel required with the occasional overnight as needs dictate.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years’ experience working within a community, preferably large-scale, amenitized and hospitality-driven environment, or closely-related experience.
- Must be able to successfully perform the essential job functions, which are representative of the position.
- Ability and desire to master current software programs and function as the subject matter expert for said programs.
- Must have reliable transportation as this is remote position that requires frequent office/site changes and travel between sites.
Education/Certificates/Licenses/Training:
High school Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Must hold an active and current CAM license in the State of Florida. Must meet local and state requirements for the position if required.

- Proficient in information technology: Microsoft Office 365 platforms and industry-related programs. Strong aptitude for Excel and PowerPoint.
- Needs to show initiative.
- Must demonstrate a desire to grow professionally.
Physical Requirements:
Must be ambulatory, that is, must have the ability to walk, reach, maintain balance, sit, stoop, or kneel. Must be able to carry or lift at least 20 pounds and be able to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Must have sufficient vision to successfully perform the essential job functions.
