Red Hawk Golf and Resort is hiring for Part-Time Banquet Set Up Staff. The set up staff is responsible for the setup and cleanup of all events. The set up staff work closely with the banquet team to ensure the correct and timely set up of all Banquet Event Order functions. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service. The ideal candidate will be available to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Pay: $16/hr tips: All employees receive FREE GOLF along with many other employee discounts.
Key Responsibilities of the Banquet Set-Up Staff:
• Assists with proper set-up and tear down for all meeting, banquets, special events and food and beverage functions.
• Ensures events are set up on time and to the correct specifications.
• Ensures that proper audiovisual equipment is available, delivered, and set up as needed for use by facility departments and guests.
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements:
• 1 years of banquet experience is required.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Regular and reliable attendance required.
• Frequently stands, walks, uses hands, reaches with hands and arms, climbs, balances, talks, and hears. Regularly sits. Occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls, tastes or smells. Frequently lifts 10 pounds; regularly lifts 25 pounds; and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
