Sunnyside Country Club is looking for a Bookkeeper!
Bookkeeper Job Responsibilities:
- Review and record miscellaneous payments; process all deposits to the bank.
- Assist Accounts Receivable with member billing questions and statements.
- Perform all Accounts Payable duties – review and post invoices, check runs, reconcile vendor statements, research aged checks.
- Collect and maintain IRS form W9 and Certificates of Insurance for vendors.
- Scan and attach documents into accounting software.
- Help establish/update bookkeeping policies and procedures.
- Assist in yearly external fiscal year end audit.
- Other duties or special projects as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- Previous bookkeeping experience.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office - including Excel, Word, and Outlook; have confidence in learning new computer applications/programs.
- Experience with Jonas Encore or Jonas Legacy software preferred, experience with other club management systems considered.
- Country Club experience preferred, Property Owner’s Association experience a plus.
