Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a structured sales process through outbound calls, in-person meetings and networking events to attract tournaments, corporate events, and social outings.
- Assist with the overall daily operations of the clubhouse, ensuring smooth functioning and exceptional services in multiple departments.
- Work alongside a variety of staff relating to golf operations, food and beverage services, events, and other activities.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales & marketing plan to align with revenue goals and market trends.
- Manage and maintain website, ensuring up-to-date content, seamless functionality, and optimal user experience.
- Plan, create and optimize email marketing campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, tee time bookings, event inquiries, and more.
- Manage and grow social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram) with a minimum of three organic posts per week, per channel, responding promptly to all online comments and reviews.
- Design promotional materials and digital content using tools like Canva or similar platforms.
- Identify and create public relations opportunities to enhance the club’s brand awareness and community engagement.
- Represent the club at industry events, networking meetings, and community engagements.
- Establish partnerships with local hotels and businesses to drive group bookings and referrals.
- Maintain a comprehensive customer relationship management (CRM) tool to track leads, conversions and follow-up communications.
- Prepare and present sales reports, analyzing performance metrics and identifying new revenue opportunities.
- Assist in the development of pricing strategies for public play, events, leagues, and loyalty programs by researching local market conditions and competitor pricing.
- Collaborate closely with onsite team to ensure successful planning and execution of all group events and tournaments.
- Address guest complaints and feedback, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and ambiance in all areas of the clubhouse and surrounding areas.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by General Manager.
- Proven experience in clubhouse operations, hospitality sales, or event marketing (2 years preferred).
- Strong background in digital marketing, social media, and public relations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to meet or exceed revenue targets through strategic planning and execution.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities.
- Graphic design or content creation experience preferred.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital marketing tools.
- Passion for golf and understanding of golf operations is strongly preferred.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in sales, marketing, or hospitality-related roles.
