Overview:
The exclusive Shell Bay Club is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee all housekeeping and laundry operations across our luxurious property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing high-end hospitality environments and understand the level of excellence required to meet the expectations of an elite membership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all housekeeping and laundry operations for the entire property, ensuring a pristine and welcoming environment.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of housekeeping and laundry staff to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and service.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality control measures tailored to the unique needs of an exclusive private club.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest areas, amenities, and back-of-house facilities to ensure consistency and attention to detail.
- Manage inventory and procurement of housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
- Address member and guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to support special events, guest stays, and other operational needs.
- Uphold and enforce safety and hygiene protocols in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all interactions with members and guests.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager in a luxury hospitality, private club, or high-end residential setting.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on member and guest satisfaction.
- Thorough knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations, including equipment maintenance and inventory control.
- Familiarity with the standards and expectations of an exclusive, upscale clientele.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Physical ability to perform inspections and assist with operations as required.
