Qualified candidates will have a critical eye for detail, deliver large doses of management by walking around, inspire all associates to be the best version of themselves, drive pride in ownership, and possess a high level of stamina.
Candidates for this interactive and engaging role should demonstrate a high level of verbal and written communication skills.
• Outgoing and friendly personality, hands-on and member service orientated.
• Exemplary leadership and management skills / team player.
• Proven ability to present solutions to everyday problems with "out of the box" thinking.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, able to communicate the board of director's vision.
• Attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency. Ability to problem solve and courage to implement needed changes/improvements.
• Strong sense of service with proven ability to train and motivate team.
• Ability to recruit, train and evaluate staff talent and have a positive record of developing, coaching and providing effective motivation. Ability to make difficult personnel decision in a timely manner.
• Strong financial background and previous experience managing a comprehensive golf and country club.
• Ability to function in a Committee orientated environment, ability to deal with a variety of personalities.
• Ability to see the big picture but also to have a critical eye for detail.
