What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swim Instructor position at Troon?
Sea Colony Fitness is hiring a Swim Instructor!
The base rate of this position will be $15 per hour with commission of $9 per hour on top. Or a commission of $4.50 per lesson.
Key Responsibilities of the Swim Instructor:
- Supervises and observes swimmers at all times to ensure their safety.
- Assists in organizing clinics and private swimming lessons for members as directed by department manager.
- Enforces the rules of conduct.
- Organize and support scheduling of lessons and billing with Wellness Director
- Communicated with parents and swimmers regarding progress and improvement.
- Maintains all necessary records determined by the department manager.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications of the Swim Instructor:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two to four years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CPR, First Aid
- Experience required
Other Qualifications:
- ASCA certification preferred.
Salary : $9 - $15
