The Position:

The Production Specialist is responsible for setting the Production Team up to Pursue Excellence daily by using our work order system and Collaborating with other team members to understand what product needs to be prepared each day. This individual also Collaborates with other team members to understand where they can assist in the completion of orders within and outside of the Production Department.

Specifically, the Production Specialist Collaborates with team members to understand departmental needs to ensure Lean & Efficient operation by:

• Obtaining knowledge about company products and workplace safety guidelines
• Using a computer to navigate the work order system to assess inventory levels, print staging documents and artwork
• Utilizing CorelDraw and industry specific software
• Completing prep work such as unboxing and boxing materials and products, building boxes, cutting metal, prepping boards, taping and sublimating plates, masking and taping crystal
• Assisting in the completion of orders which may include the general assembly of plaques, crystal, acrylic, and marble awards.
• Pulling product from the warehouse and staging pieces for personalization
• Performing quality assurance on finished product
• Operating industry specific equipment
• Maintaining organization and cleanliness in Production workspaces
• Other prep work and tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Production Specialists should hold a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

Production Specialists should possess a keen attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills. They should be dexterous self-starters who possess the ability to problem solve and work Collaboratively in teams. The ability to stay on their feet for extended periods of time, basic computer skills, and the ability to move and lift objects up to 30lbs is required. Corel Draw or Graphic Design experience is a plus, but not required.
