What are the responsibilities and job description for the Back Office Administrator position at Trophy Club Family Medicine?
This is a great opportunity for a Back Office Admin to join our team. Successful candidates should be able to have an understanding of medical procedures and protocols, as well as have a knowledge of medical terminology. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide back office support to patients and clinical staff. The ideal candidate for this position will also be comfortable communicating with patients about their medical issues, responding to general inquiries and being detailed-oriented in all health care related workplace responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative work to ensure the smooth operation of a medical office.
- Process faxes including attaching preventative orders, consult notes, and imaging.
- Track and complete all prior authorizations for medication. This includes following up on denials.
- Research and complete all insurance measures including filling care gaps.
- Assist Medical Assistants with voice mails and portal messages.
- Be familiar with state and Federal medical laws and assist office staff in complying with them.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
