BACK OF HOUSE
General Purpose:
Back of House is responsible for prepping ready to eat foods and cooking food to order. Maintain high quality food standards
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Adhere to DHEC and Tropical Grille rules and regulations
- Prep food
- Adhere to Tropical Grille Recipes
- Assist putting away truck orders.
- Cook food to order.
- Communicating with management if help is needed.
- Ensure proper rotation and labeling of food, FIFO.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and freshness.
- Marinating chicken
- Prepare caterings.
- Breaking down and cleaning grille
- Responsibilities are not limited to direct job description; we expect all team members to perform any additional tasks asked of them by management.
Skills and Competencies:
- Knowledge of food safe temperatures
- Urgency
- Organization
- Basic knife skills
- Muti-tasking
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Physical dexterity required to clean work areas.
- Able to work in hot kitchen environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
