Job Description:
A Frac Sand Driver, 1099 Contractor, is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of frac sand to and from well sites for oil and gas operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Safely and efficiently transport frac sand to and from well sites, following all applicable traffic laws and regulations. 2. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to ensure they are in proper working condition. 3. Comply with company and industry safety standards, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety protocols. 4. Monitor and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs of the truck and trailer.
Requirements: 1. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (e.g., Class A). 2. Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents. 3. Experience operating commercial vehicles, preferably with pneumatic trailers or similar equipment. 4. Knowledge of and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations. 5. Familiarity with oil and gas industry operations, including hydraulic fracturing (fracking), is preferred. 6. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and safety procedures. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members, and dispatchers. 8. Willingness to comply with drug and alcohol testing requirements as mandated by federal regulations.
