Greeting guests
- Welcome guests and make a good first impression
- Ask for the guest's reservation name
- Check the guest's reservation in the system
- Request photo ID and credit card
Managing reservations
- Book and register rooms by phone, in person, or online
- Assign rooms to guests
- Manage cancellations and room changes
Answering questions
- Provide information about the hotel, its services, and nearby attractions
- Answer questions about travel directions, dining, and entertainment
- Help guests plan their vacation
Processing payments
- Process payments for accommodations and additional charges
- Handle cash and maintain accurate records
- Create cash reports and deposit checks
Other duties
- Assist guests with luggage
- Coordinate with other hotel departments
- Maintain the front desk area
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues
- Provide recommendations for local restaurants, attractions, and activities
- Other duties and tasks as assigned
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
