Key Responsibilities:
Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a Warehouse Utility Worker in our Whitestone, NY Plant. This labor-intensive role is responsible for hand-building pallets of product for bulk, and route trucks. Each type of picking requires strict attention to order accuracy concerning building outgoing orders and unloading incoming trucks. Works from an Electronic order system or order sheets to build loads using a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack. The position is responsible for accuracy in picking/loading and complying with shipper/receiver documentation.
Follows warehouse instructions in building loads. Bulk truck loading involves selecting designated packages and flavors of products from the warehouse and loading them onto a pallet. The position is responsible for maintaining the stability of the pallet through proper stacking and shrink-wrapping. In most cases, pallets are loaded onto a trailer for local delivery. The position is responsible for unloading returned products and pallets/plastic flats.
The Warehouse Utility Worker may be required to work across a wide variety of weather conditions and hours, shift duration depends on the workload and may vary daily.
This position will be required to work a minimum of the following shift: Mon - Friday 3:00PM - 11:30PM.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Operate a powered pallet jack or forklift to move products to the picking area and build pallets or loads according to load sheets or voice-pick audio equipment (if applicable).
- Mark load tickets for out-of-stock items.
- Wrap and stage completed pallets for truck loading.
- Submit order documentation for verification before loading trucks.
- Previous warehouse experience (e.g., order selecting, product staging, powered pallet jack/forklift operation, etc.)
- Proven experience operating a forklift, including tasks such as driving forward, reversing, lifting, and lowering the boom, and maneuvering in tight spaces without damaging products
- Experience working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets, including placing pallets on or off vertical product racking systems and trucks, and maximizing vertical storage
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment (e.g., cooperating with coworkers, problem-solving, etc.)
- Physical ability to lift and move products repeatedly, with cases weighing between 20-45 pounds per case. The role requires constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping
- Strong productivity and accuracy skills, with a focus on key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is essential
- Willingness to work onsite daily in the Whitestone, NY Plant
