Position Description :
Morgan Stanley GBOT Digital Business Automation team is looking for Java / Scala Developer to join a technologically advanced team to work on Apache Spark (& Hadoop) based ETL Platform. ETL process will interface with Morgan Stanley books & records systems for Data Transformation & Distribution. Candidate will interface on a regular basis with other teams including other internal IT teams across Wealth Management BA team QA team and offshore development team. The candidate must have good communication skills and be able work with both users and lead IT team members in a highly collaborative team environment. To be successful the role will require the individual to understand the banking technology landscape and to offer creative solutions that integrate current capabilities and proprietary system builds.
Job Functions / Duties and Responsibilities :
- Design & Development Enterprise scale ETL process for doing Data Ingestion Transformation and Distribution integrating with multiple systems in Morgan Stanley.
- Perform Business analysis along with BA / QAs to ensure requirements documented and implemented in Scala language.
- Collaborating with multiple technology teams that are upstream and downstream to the application such as Books & Records System Pricing System Data Warehouse
- Working in the Agile development methodologies collaborating with business and technology teams located globally.
Skills Required :
Must have 8 Years of experience on Java and related frameworks
Must have 3 Years of Handson experience with Spring framework including Spring Boot Spring Security Spring Batch
Skills Desired :
Education :
Minimum BS degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
