What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custom Applicator position at Trotter Inc?
CUSTOM APPLICATOR: Applies chemicals and fertilizers to patrons fields, using proper equipment, rates & techniques. Assists in the loading, mixing & transporting of products to crop fields. Attends meetings, training, & stays abreast of new technologies, application methods, equipment updates & crop inputs. Responsible for maintaining accurate written records on all patron fields where products are applied & following any & all product label requirements. Relays customer complaints to management & gives prompt courteous service to all customers. Works with customers in a safe manner that maximizes day to day business effectiveness. Maintains a safe work environment and wears proper PPE when required. Assists in facility management & the general upkeep of the facility, equipment & company vehicles. Reports to work on time and sets a positive example for co-workers. Operates, repairs & maintains company vehicles & equipment. Maintains a valid commercial pesticide license & is eligible to obtain at least a class B CDL driver’s license with tanker endorsement. Works overtime as requested at any and all Trotter locations and perform any and all other tasks as requested by your supervisors. Follows all company rules & policies.
