What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Agronomist position at Trotter Inc?
Contacts patrons, sells fertilizer, chemicals & agronomy services. Attends meetings, training, & stays abreast of new technologies, application methods, equipment updates & crop inputs. Councils patrons on agronomic practices, develops recommendations for proper field application & rates. Responsible for crop scouting, soil testing, & mapping while maintaining accurate written records on all patron fields & recommendations. Orders & maintains accurate inventory of chemicals & fertilizers. Relays customer complaints to management & gives prompt courteous service to all customers. Works with customers in a safe manner that maximizes day to day business effectiveness. Maintains a safe work environment and wears proper PPE when required. Assists in personnel, facility management & the general upkeep of the facility, equipment & company vehicles. Reports to work on time and sets a positive example for subordinates. Operates a desktop computer & computerized loading system. Operates & maintains company vehicles & equipment. Maintains a valid commercial pesticide license & is eligible to obtain at least a class B CDL driver’s license with tanker endorsement. Performs other duties as directed by your supervisor. Follows all company rules & policies.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
