Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on various metal components and structures as part of a production line process
- Operate welding equipment and tools such as plasma cutters, and hand tools with precision and accuracy
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to ensure high-quality welds and adhere to industry standards
- Conduct inspections and perform necessary repairs or adjustments to meet quality standards and specifications
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively by communicating effectively and adapting to changing priorities
Requirements
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role demonstrating expertise in assembly line operations
- Proficient in MIG welding techniques and processes with knowledge of other welding techniques such as stick welding being a plus
- Familiarity with duct-work, pipe threading, and soldering to expand your skill set
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations to ensure precise work
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship to produce high-quality results
- Ability to operate a crane for lifting heavy materials (if applicable) and physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.
