BAS Control Technician

Responsibilities :
- Responsible for installing wiring programming and commissioning Building Automation Systems (BAS) for HVAC and other mechanical systems in commercial buildings
- Install BAS hardware including controllers sensors actuators and other system components
- Perform electrical wiring and terminations for control panels field devices and network communications in accordance with local codes and standards.
- Configure and program BAS controllers to meet project specifications and operational requirements.
- Assist in setting up network connections and system integrations with thirdparty devices.
- Conduct system checks to ensure proper functionality of installed controls.
- Calibrate sensors and verify performance to meet design and customer expectations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during the commissioning phase.
- Work closely with project managers engineers and other technicians to ensure successful project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of installation programming and commissioning activities.
- Provide documentation for asbuilt drawings and system changes.
- Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction with installation and system functionality.
- Provide training to customers on system operation and troubleshooting as needed.
