Cable and Wire harness Engineering Technician

• Analyze and interpret defense industry technical documentation, including schematics, drawings, and contract requirements.
  
• Source necessary components rapidly and cost-effectively for custom cable and wiring harness assembly.
  
• Build and oversee the production of low-volume, high-mix cables and wiring harnesses for defense applications.
  
• Supervise production technicians and ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards.
  
• Develop and deliver precise work instructions and technical guidance to the production team.
  
• Ensure all assemblies meet MIL-spec and other relevant industry standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in custom cable assembly for defense applications.
  
• Strong knowledge of MIL-spec and other aerospace/military-grade standards.
  
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and contract documents.
  
• Hands-on expertise in wiring harness assembly and component sourcing.
  
• Ability to lead and mentor production technicians effectively.
  
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

• Familiarity with defense contracting processes and compliance requirements.
  
• Knowledge of low-volume, high-mix production techniques.
  
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
