Survey Crew Chief (PLS)

Salary Starting : $70,000 (Based on experience)
Job Overview :
We are actively seeking a skilled and licensed Survey Crew Chief to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have experience in property boundary surveys, ALTA Title Surveys, topographic & features surveys, residential & commercial construction stakeout, and utility surveys. Candidate must have experience with deed research, especially old deeds, title reviews, computing traverses, record plats, establishing horizontal and vertical control. "People Skills" when interacting with clients is as important as technical competency. Especially when establishing a property line that involves a neighbor dispute. PA. Surveyor-in-Training Exam with plans to take PLS exam a plus. Knowledge of Terra-Model, Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to prepare digital terrain models and contouring also a plus.
Requirements :
- 3-5 years minimum experience in property boundry surveys
- 3 years minimum relative field experience
- Willing to travel (company vehicle)
- Proficiency in using surveying instrumentsand software
- Strong knowledge of land surveying laws, regulations, and industry best practices
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration
