Supervisor: Principal
Job Objective:
Plan educational programs that will be responsive to each and every student and prepare them for future success. Provide academic and non-academic support to ensure opportunity and access to each and every student.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid License for the Assignment from the Ohio Department of Education
- Ability to pass an Ohio BCI and FBI background check.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom & Instruction: Prepare learning materials, teach assigned classes, and align lesson plans with district and state standards.
- Student Support: Develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans, differentiate instruction, and provide interventions to support diverse learning needs.
- Behavioral Management: Implement PBIS strategies, uphold student conduct policies, and collaborate on behavior interventions.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work with staff, families, and administration to ensure student success. Co-teach and consult with general education teachers as needed.
- Data & Compliance: Maintain accurate records (attendance, grades, interventions), meet deadlines, and ensure adherence to legal and district policies.
- Student Well-Being: Identify learning barriers, monitor behavior concerns, report suspected child abuse, and ensure a safe, inclusive environment.
- Professional Growth & Engagement: Attend meetings, participate in professional development, and support school events.
- Additional Duties: Supervise students, attend extracurricular activities, and perform other tasks as assigned.
