Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous FISH CUTTING and SEAFOOD OPERATION experience. We are looking for a candidate that is interested in growing with us and looking for the opportunity at future leadership roles.
Duties
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming food products in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including cutting and packaging seafood and other food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Follow all company policies regarding food handling, safety protocols, and cleanliness.
Skills
- Experience in the seafood industry is preferred.
- Proficient in fish cutting and fish filleting techniques.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of seafood warehousing is preferred.
