Hiring Salary Range
$55,000.00 - $75,000.00

The Career Coaching & Planning Assistant will support the day-to-day operations related to providing confidential career coaching and professional skills programming for attorneys across the firm. The Career Coaching & Planning Assistant will also support the development of new processes and systems to support the growth of the coaching program while enhancing the culture of coaching at Troutman Pepper Locke.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Career Coaching & Planning program.
- Collaborate with administrative teams including Practice Management, Alumni, Recruiting, Professional Development, Innovation, and Information Technology for various coaching related projects, events, and processes.
- Assist with maintaining and updating key documents, materials, and collateral for internal processes, internal and external webpages, programs, workshops, and academies.
- Research, organize, and update coaching and professional skills content for resource library.
- Coordinate and support group and cohort coaching programs including logistics, scheduling, communications, data tracking, surveys, and reporting.
- Gather, maintain, analyze, and report on confidential coaching program data.
- Monitor industry message boards, email lists, publications, and newsletters for relevant coaching and professional skills content and programming.
- Maintain internal job board and coordinate related processes.
- Maintain and update vendor and referral databases.
- Facilitate budget tracking, expense reporting, reimbursement requests, and related processes.
- Respond to inquiries about various needs, such as scheduling, programming, and events.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in maintaining confidential information.
- Enthusiastic about supporting the growth and development of others.
- Intellectually curious and proactive problem solver.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and with teams to promote consistent and efficient workflow processes.
- Ability to manage and execute on a variety of projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a law firm or other professional services setting strongly preferred.
- Experience with career coaching, career counseling, professional development, or related fields.
