Project Management Services is responsible for the implementation of approved Firm technology projects from inception to completion. The Project Manager ensures the successful implementation of technology related projects by applying project management methodologies and identifying, organizing and leading a team of individuals in order to accomplish a given objective of the Firm. The Project Manager will assure that information created, acquired or maintained in performance of job duties is used in accordance to protect the firm's information and infrastructure from external or internal threats and will comply with Firm Policy requirements regarding information access, classification, security and privacy.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional managers to select, develop and oversee an effective project team and allocate team members to project tasks.
- Lead and direct the work of others to ensure team members have a clear understanding of the project goals to meet requirements.
- Create, clarify, and manage the project scope. Schedule and lead effective recurring project status meetings.
- Manage, monitor, and report on the project status, financial performance, project management and issue resolution.
- Participate in technology related demonstrations, evaluation, and selection of a solution for a project, if applicable.
- Manage and maintain project documentation repository. Create and update documentation including schedules, budgets and project plan.
- Manage sign-off of key deliverables and conduct Quality Assurance reviews.
- Champion and mentor the use of the Firm’s project management processes and tools and create and support repeatable processes.
- Adhere to the Project Management Services defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Project Management Lifecycle and Project Intake Process to remain in compliance with the requirements of the Firm’s ISO 27001 certification.
- Capture and present business requirements. Maintain objectives for Communication, Risk, Quality, Cost and Stakeholder/Vendor Management.
- Work with Project Sponsors and Technology Procurement to secure funding when appropriate.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of standard firm technology.
- Continue to develop skills, knowledge and ability to improve processes and procedures as well as to keep updated on trends and developments in the industry and in legal practice, including meeting annual personal development goals.
- Meet annual security education training and awareness (SETA) requirements.
- Position requires the ability to develop excellent working relationships and experience in client-service delivery.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to inspire, enable and motivate a project team.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected and may be required to manage projects in the areas of office growth, software development or network infrastructure.
- Strong communication and presentations skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Dedication to quality service, creativity, strong problem solving and analytical skills, excellent initiative and assertiveness, and the desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to meet annual security education training and awareness (SETA) requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a project management or related position
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience working in a law firm environment is desired.
