Sage X3 Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ERP Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining the company s ERP system, ensuring it meets the needs of the business. You will work closely with various departments to optimize workflows, identify system improvements, and support end-users. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ERP systems (specifically Sage X3), excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record in system configuration, analysis, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• ERP System Implementation & Configuration: Lead or assist in the implementation and configuration of ERP solutions tailored to business requirements, ensuring the system is aligned with the organization s goals and objectives.
• Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the ERP system.
• System Optimization & Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements within the ERP environment to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting, issue resolution, and root cause analysis for ERP-related problems. Offer ongoing technical support to end-users and training to ensure effective utilization of the system.
• System Maintenance & Upgrades: Monitor the performance of the ERP system, perform regular system health checks, and ensure necessary updates, patches, and upgrades are implemented in a timely manner.
• Data Integrity & Reporting: Ensure data integrity across the ERP system, implement data validation, and generate accurate and insightful reports to support decision-making.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Finance, HR, Sales, and Manufacturing to understand their ERP needs and provide solutions that optimize processes and align with business goals.
• Documentation & Training: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for ERP processes, configurations, and procedures. Train and mentor junior ERP analysts and end-users.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure the ERP system complies with industry standards, data privacy regulations, and internal security protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ERP certifications) is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ERP analysis, implementation, configuration, and support, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Strong expertise in Sage X3, or in a similar ERP environment, with the ability to quickly gain expertise in a Sage environment.
• Highly proficient in SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools.
• Excellent understanding of business processes and how they integrate with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in project management, including planning, organizing, and executing ERP-related projects.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with on-prem and cloud-based ERP systems or SaaS solutions.
• Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) tools or ERP analytics platforms.
• Previous experience in a leadership role within an ERP project or support team.
• Certification in ERP solutions (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate, Oracle ERP Cloud certification).
• Sage X3 certifications are a definite plus
