Accounts Payable Associate
On-site , Aurora
Schedule : Monday-Friday - 9 AM-4 PM
Pay : $20-$22 per hour
Job Summary
This role serves as a vital support function within the finance department, focusing on vendor invoice management and ensuring accurate and timely payments to suppliers by reconciling invoices with purchase orders.
Responsibilities
- Obtain supplier invoices, receive documents, and other relevant materials, review for accuracy, apply proper coding, and post to the accounting system.
- Prepare checks for printing.
- Process hand checks as needed.
- Address and resolve supplier accounts payable (A / P) inquiries.
- Collaborate with buyers to resolve cost discrepancies, maintaining a cost discrepancy log for tracking.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the finance lead.
