Operations Coordinator
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing all invoicing related to orders, supplies, and materials while ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative operations within the plant. This role involves placing, tracking, and monitoring purchase orders, collaborating with the Plant Manager on month-end reports, and maintaining essential documentation to support efficient and safe plant operations.
Location : Hazelton, PA
Schedule : Monda-Friday - 8 AM-4 : 30 PM
Pay rate : $18 / hr
Duties :
- Coordinate daily operations by collaborating with various departments.
- Professionally handle incoming calls and greet plant visitors.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other essential documents.
- Verify pricing accuracy on all order entries.
- Support financial processes, including invoice processing and reporting.
- Maintain records of inventory, including raw materials, consumables, and office supplies.
- Prepare spending reports to aid in budget monitoring.
- Issue purchase orders (POs) for plant, maintenance, and office supplies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Direct employees to the appropriate sources for information.
- Cross-train to provide backup support for other administrative roles.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Education : High school diploma or GED required.
Experience : Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required; ERP / Inventory experience preferred.
